Since 1989, the Feld family has been at the forefront of crafting remarkable off-road camper vans designed to withstand the harshest outdoor conditions. For three decades, these vehicles were created under the banner of Sportsmobile West, a division of Sportsmobile Inc. However, in 2021, Sportsmobile West concluded its licensing agreement and proudly rebranded as Field Van, embarking on a thrilling new chapter in our long van building history.
Operating from our primary location in Fresno, Ca, nestled between the Majestic Sierra Nevada mountain range and the Central Coast/ Big Sur areas of California, we’ve gained over 30 years of industry expertise while traveling, adventuring, and testing vans in our own backyard and far beyond. From this location, Field Van has put thousands of vans on the road with a dedicated team of more than 75 professionals building vans from the ground up, and have established our reputation as the leading name in building top-tier camper vans. Recently, we’ve added a new showroom and service center in Reno, NV, which has enhanced our ability to serve our customers better. At Field Van, we remain committed to crafting the finest adventure vehicles and upholding our family legacy of exceptional customer service. Our vans have played a crucial role in Qatar’s “Humanitarian Mission to the World,” where we supplied a fleet of 4×4 vehicles. Qatar acquired these vans many years ago to establish an international search and rescue fleet. These vehicles have been essential in responding to global disasters, including providing vital support to the people of Beirut. Field Van’s expertise and contributions have significantly enhanced Qatar’s worldwide aid and assistance efforts.
