For this Summit S4 model, we chose to build it on the 2500 170″ wheelbase 4×4 Sprinter van but it is also compatible with the new AWD Sprinter and the 148″ wheelbase extended Ford Transit. We’ve equipped it with the essentials to ensure it’s trail-ready, including 17″ Black Rhino wheels paired with BFG KO2 tires for added clearance and off-road performance. The ride is enhanced by a 4.3 suspension kit from Van Compass, featuring adjustable Falcon shocks and the Rally Struts, making it a smooth experience whether you’re on highways or rugged terrain.
What sets the Summit S4 apart is the interior layout and design, which focuses on spaciousness and of course flexibility. The concept stems from one of our customers who loved the classic Summit S1 but wanted additional features for modern adventures, such as:

The Summit S4 comfortably sleeps up to four people. The rear platform bed is a nearly king-sized Moab bed, perfect for those who prefer a permanent sleeping solution. This mattress, provided by Roam Rest, guarantees comfort for your overnight stays.
One of the standout features is the sliding sofa/bed from Mobiframe, which seats two passengers with full shoulder harness seat belts and modern car seat attachments. This innovative sofa slides forward to create a spacious gear storage area for long items such as surfboards or paddleboards and also folds out into a bed for two additional sleepers.
No need to miss any home cooked meals, as the S4 offers a galley shelf with recessed dimmable lighting, perfect for storing cups, mugs, and spices. The induction stove boils water quickly, and the removable cutting board and strainer make the larger sink incredibly functional, even for bigger pots and pans. For refrigeration, the S4 comes equipped with the Isotherm Cruise 100 refrigerator.
The S4 comes with an aftermarket stereo system that can be powered by either the van’s battery or the “house battery,” ensuring you can enjoy your music without draining your van. The system includes front and rear speakers and a subwoofer for a premium sound experience, whether you’re parked or on the move.
We also enhanced the van’s soundproofing with DynaMat for quieter rides and incorporated extreme weather insulation to keep you comfortable in any climate, from winter camping trips to summer beach getaways.

Every 2-4 feet, our cabinets are L-bracketed to the van’s frame or metal plates for added stability, ensuring that your interior remains solid even on rough roads. We also use Trunk Liner material to line drawers and cabinets, eliminating rattles, and our proprietary T-mold edging resists scratching and chipping.
