Our famous S1 plan is built on this Chevy Express 4×4 van. This camper can hit the trails like a motorhome going “undercover” as a jeep or capable trail vehicle. When you are finished tackling those challenging dirt roads the van opens up with the pop top and exterior awning transforming into the perfect home base in minutes while your jeep and pick-up truck buddies are still unloading their tents. Complete with a full galley and tons of storage, this layout still boasts open space and room to move around inside. The lower bench with seat belts for 3 converts to a bed big enough for 2 adults to sleep comfortably. At night the upper bed can be lowered from the pop top for another bed large enough for 2. Amenities include a refrigerator, sink, furnace, water heater, exterior shower and can also be optioned with a stove top and/or a microwave. This particular van uses a door cabinet with portable stoves that can be used inside or outside for preparing your meal. This layout is also great as a mobile office that any great investigative journalist could use down at the beach!
