Field Van's First Adventure Vehicle Show of the 2024 Season

Day 1 :
Jack and Brian won the draw for 2024’s first Adventure Vehicle Show

With departure from Field Van Fresno around noon, the crew arrived at the Pomona Fairplex in LA County to set up around 5PM, Followed up by a quick cruise to check out the other vendors, it was immediately noticeable that this show was double to triple what the guys encountered last year, it was shaping up to be a great show weekend.
The Fairplex greeted us with typical California weather and scenery. With sunshine and blue skies surrounded by palm trees, the guys were happy to be outside optimizing the perfect weather for that picturesque #VanLife experience…
Pomona Fairplex – CA Adventure & Power Sports Show 3/ 16-17 /24

After setting up the crew was ready to grab some grub and get their dancing boots on for the obligatory Montana’s visit, the best kept secret in San Dimas CA. Montana’s is a country night club that is only open Fridays and Saturdays, a giant dance floor packed with line dancers, good drinks, and entertainment for all! It is truly and unreal experience and in the most random of places…especially if it is your first time to a line dancing country bar!

Day 2:
Due to the nature and location of this show, the guys were not able to camp in the vans like most other expos, so they were set up at a local Best Western with arguably the best hotel breakfast west of the Mississippi. The sun was shining, and a great day was ahead. After a quick Uber over, Brian and Jack were all set up for the day. With some people sneaking in a little early, the day was rolling! Saturday had an awesome turn out! The promoter even sold out of wristbands and had to go purchase more mid way through the day. Southern California has always been good to Field Van and it showed on Saturday with previous owners coming over to see our new products, current owners coming by to say “what’s up” and talk about their vans with the guys along with potential new customers that were in our booth. It was a constant flow of people all day long and there were many good conversations with interested customers. New for this year the promoter held a vendor party to meet and mingle with others at the show. The guys linked up with some old friends and new ones while enjoying some refreshments and food. The focus of this show is more than just overland and vans, so it was cool to see different products and approaches to enjoying the outdoors across the different industries.

Day 3:
The last day of the show was again sunny and beautiful, add in the fantastic breakfast to power the guys through and it was already a 10/10 day. The show gates opened at 10AM and the traffic started picking up with lots of festive people walking around rocking their green apparel for St. Patty’s day. The stoke was real all day. Both the guys talked and showed off the van options and carried on many in depth conversations on the intricacies of the builds. the gearheads and overlanders showed up and were ready see some vans and ask some questions! Having our showstopper Field Van Classic in the booth never hurts either with people walking over just to pet the Raptor finish or admire the burly 4x4 and off-road capabilities. The classic is truly a one of a kind machine. After it was all done and the show hours had ended, the guys made quick work of the pack-up and were headed back home following another successful Adventure and Power Sports Show. We are excited to return next year for an amazing show and some Montana’s line dancing!
